The lymphatic system is essential for detoxification and immune function. Made up of lymph nodes and vessels, it carries fluids, toxins, fat cells, immune cells, and waste products away from the body’s tissues. Unlike the circulatory system, which has the heart to keep blood moving, the lymphatic system relies on movement and external stimulation to function properly.
