You know God has called you to impact the Kingdom with your calling but now you feel stuck and just need God to show you how to do what He's asking you to do. Turn the fear of messing it up and the doubt of how to move forward into clarity and confidence with Christian Life Coaching. Let's chat!
If you’ve ever said, “I’m just waiting on clarity,” then girl—we need to talk.
As a Christian life coach, I hear this phrase from women all the time. Women who love Jesus, who are chasing after God’s will for their life, but who feel paralyzed when it comes to actually doing the thing God has placed on their heart.
They’re stuck.
Not because they don’t care.
Not because they don’t want it badly enough.
They’re stuck because they’re waiting on clarity before they take action.
And friend? That’s keeping them from moving forward.
Saying “I’m waiting on clarity” can feel really spiritual. Like you’re being wise. Like you’re being patient. But more often than not, it’s actually a cover for overthinking, fear of failure, and a craving for control.
We say we need clarity to get motivated—but the truth is, motivation usually comes after we take action. Not before.
You don’t need more clarity. What you do need is a mindset shift.
You need to stop waiting for peace to come from understanding and start walking in peace that comes from trust.
Hebrews 11:1 tells us,
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Faith is solid. Tangible. It’s not just a feeling.
It’s confidence in what God said—even if you can’t see it yet.
But here’s the tension: we love to see. We love certainty. We love plans and timelines and guarantees. But God doesn’t operate that way. He doesn’t give us a five-year plan. He gives us the next step. Sometimes, just a whisper.
God says, “Go.”
He says, “Follow Me.”
He says, “Come.”
And when we don’t, we get stuck. Stuck in fear and overthinking. Stuck in procrastination, perfectionism, and spiraling thoughts like:
Let me tell you a story.
When my daughters started driving, I had faith they knew how. I watched them pass driver’s ed, do their practice hours, and learn the rules. But when it came time to sit in the passenger seat and let them drive me around?
Trust got real. I grabbed that door handle like it was a life raft. I was ready to jump if I had to (I mean, not really—but kinda).
But over time, as they practiced, my confidence in them grew. And then came the real test: letting them drive away alone for the first time.
That’s what trust looks like. It’s built in movement. It’s scary. But it grows with each step of obedience.
You may believe God can do what He said. But do you trust Him enough to move before you see the whole picture?
We’ve turned clarity into the prerequisite for obedience. But God never said, “Get clear, then go.”
He said, “Go.”
We want a laminated plan with bullet points and guaranteed outcomes. But God is calling us to surrendered obedience. To take the next step even when our knees are shaking.
Obedience is the evidence of trust.
Faith without movement is just theory. And waiting on clarity often becomes a disguise for staying stuck in fear.
Here’s the Christian mindset shift I want you to hear loud and clear:
You don’t need clarity to move. You need courage to obey.
Motivation comes after movement. Confidence comes after consistency.
Faith builds in motion.
So if you’re waiting to “feel ready”—you’ll stay stuck.
If you’re waiting for confirmation after confirmation—you’ll keep circling the same mountain.
But if you take the next right step in obedience?
That’s where the breakthrough lives.
You don’t have to stay in a cycle of overthinking. Here are a few tangible ways to move forward in faith, even when clarity feels far off:
Romans 12:1 (AMP) says:
“Present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice…which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.”
This is faith. It is trust. THIS is worship.
You don’t need perfect conditions or a full plan. You need obedience.
Friend, if you’ve been waiting for clarity to get motivated—this is your wake-up call.
The courage to move is already inside of you.
Let’s stop waiting.
Stop overthinking.
Stop trying to do it perfectly.
Friend, let’s walk by faith—not by sight.
